Connecting Carers

Connecting Carers is the local Carer Centre for Highland, delivering carer services on behalf of NHS Highland and Highland Council.

  • Their Vision is:  A better life for unpaid carers in Highland.
  • Their Mission is: To connect carers to the support they need for a better life.

Connecting Carers work with unpaid carers every day and have learned a great deal from them.  They use this knowledge to ensure that unpaid carers in Highland are not caring alone, that they are acknowledged and supported and that they have access to the information they need to enable them to carry out their caring role.

Based in Dingwall, their team covers Highland from Caithness and Sutherland in the north to Lochaber in the south:

Their drop-in centre is open from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday – Friday and you can call the centre on 01463 723575 where a member of the team is always on hand with help and advice.
